My first farm project - new throw pillows!

When I first moved to the farm, my beautiful new leather couch needed a bit of an accent.  Thus began my first sewing project on the farm - new throw pillows!  I love the way they look in contrast with the dark leather!

MIZZOU!

Here is a glimpse at my most recent project: an MU Rag Quilt.  I love the way this turned out!  What better way to keep warm this winter than bundled up in a quilt featuring your favorite sports team?

My sewing bag

Some days I go from one sewing group in the morning to another in the afternoon.  What's a girl to do with all her quilting/embroidering/sewing supplies?  I created a sewing bag especially to hold all my traveling treasures!  This could also be used as a purse.

Love those Flower Prints!

Adorable bib & burp cloth set for baby in a bright, modern print.

When the cover is lifted, the alternate fabric is revealed (also on the border of the other side)

Straps velcro on to carrier and have the adorable coordinating fabric on the underside.

A view from the back
Is baby sleeping?  Are you looking for a way to say "Don't bug me"?  My daughter saw a baby carrier with a cover while she was pregnant and thought that it would be the perfect baby gift item!  We found a great pattern online that using two coordinating fabrics.  In her words, it has been her favorite new accessory with baby #3.  She is frequently stopped and asked about this cover!  Baby snoozes away without being bothered by people or the sun!

A Splash of Hot Pink!

Another coordinating set.  Shown here is both the narrow burp cloth with three coordinating fabrics and the wide burp cloth.  I love how great these fabrics look together!

Butterflies!

Classic black and white look with a butterfly print!

Clutch Purses

Looking for a smaller sized custom purse?  Here are two samples of my new clutch purses, the perfect size for evening or when you just have less stuff to carry around!

Bibs & Burp Cloths - Pink & Brown

Mix & Match!

All the bibs & burp cloths coordinate!
Pink & Brown is a hot trend for baby girls... and here are the perfect bibs & burp cloths for your little one!  Cute, yet stylish for mom and baby.  I have created both a thin burp cloth, perfect for covering your shoulder, and a wider burp cloth.

Bibs & Burp Cloths - the yellow collection

The trifecta of yellow-hued burp cloths!

All bibs have terrycloth backing.

A sewing magazine showed how to make burp cloths.  With a new grandbaby on the way, I got right to work!  Enjoy the fun prints!

Quilting

Baseball Quilt

A close-up of the finished product!
Little brother needed one too!
I've always wanted to learn to quilt but didn't take the time until I retired and became a farmer's wife!  What better excuse for quilting than to make something special for my grand kids?  Both grandsons love sports, especially baseball.  I made a twin-sized quilt for the older grandson, a crib-sized quilt for the little one.

A few of my favorite things...

Black - always a classic look!

Pink & Brown - so stylish!

Hot Pink & Black

Believe it or not the accent fabric was leftovers from curtains I made for my daughter!
Here are several of my custom purse designs.  I love getting special requests from customers!  Some of my custom purses include sports teams (Missouri, Illinois, local schools), animals (cats, dogs, birds), musical notes, etc.  You name it, I'll find the material for it!
